<p><span style="font-family: Verdana;">The present investigation report the characteristics of treated and untreated wastewater of pulp and paper industry situated at near Bhusawal Dist. Jalgaon (India). The present study we have found even the treated effluent was to be considerably polluted and exceeded the BIS limits. The values of temp., PH, chloride and total phenols were found below limit, whereas colour, BOD, COD and lignin concentration were above the permissible limits.</span></p>
