Samples were plated out on potato dextrose agar (PDA) &amp;nbsp;medium and incubated at 28ËšC&amp;plusmn;2ËšC. Resulting growth microscopically screened for fungal species. &lt;em&gt;Aspergillus&lt;/em&gt; was commonest fungus found in all fruits during storage of fruits.Other genera like; &lt;em&gt;Acremonium, Alternaria, Aspergillus, Chalaropsis, Cladosporium, Curvularia, Fusariumm, Mucor, Penicillium, Rhizopus, &lt;/em&gt;and &lt;em&gt;Trichoderma &lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp;were common in fruits stored stored in warm and humid condition.</p></abstract><kwd-group><title>Keywords</title><kwd>Fungal pathogens</kwd><kwd> Fruits</kwd><kwd> Cachar district</kwd></kwd-group><counts><ref-count count='' /><page-count count='' /></counts></article-meta></front></article>
